I really liked the anime, personally. I only just watched it, a week ago. It was really good! My girlfriend told me about it and we watched it together. She gets me into a lot of animes.
Recently I watched Hoozuki no Reitetsu and Golden Time based upon her suggestions. Angel Beats was really good though; Angel was so cute! ^__^ Glad you know the anime too, and like it! Too bad most people did not like it...
